HOW TO CONNECT TO PHOBOS USING CYBERDUCK (SFTP)
I. DOWNLOADING AND SETTING UP CYBERDUCK:
- Download WinSCP from http://cyberduck.ch
- Click on cyberduck-x.x.x.dmg save the file to your computer.
- When download is complete, double click on cyberduck-x.x.x.dmg. At the finder window, click and drag cyberduck to your application folder. Once it finish installing, do Ctrl + click and select make alias. Drag the alias to the dock or desktop for future use.
- Double click on cyberduck icon.
- Type in or select these settings for the numbered items and click on connect.
- Protocol: SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)
- Server: phobos.ramapo.edu
- Port: 22
- Username: username (email username)
- Password: password (email password)
- Path: WWW
II. FIRST TIME LOGIN:
- The first time you login using Cyberduck, you will see an Alert message. Click Don’t Ask Again if you agree or click change if you do not want Cyberduck to be the default application for FTP and SFTP.
III. CYBERDUCK INTERFACE AND TRANSFERING FILES.
- After login in to phobos, you will see the screen shown below.

- Item number 2 is the Remote Panel.
- Remote Panel display files located in your remote site/Phobos.
